TOKALA

Tokala is a national photo series highlighting the intersectionality of climate and social justice centering BIPOC youth organizers and the stories of the regions/communities they are fighting for. Featuring 12 Activists across 10 cities, the series is meant to show the differences in climate and lifestyle as well as the through line of injustice that connects them. Through a mix of stylized fashion portraits and documentary photography the goal is to show subjects in their power giving activists the platform they need & deserve.
